JUST TEASING: Frameable Poster-Size Fantasy & Pin-Up Art by Dave Stevens -- Warehouse Find, from 1991. Our Highest Recommendation. Long, long out of print. A wonderful selection of Dave's finest ladies: Sheena (2), Bettie Page (2), Fay Wray almost disrobed by King Kong, Sexy space sirens, a pirate girl, a cowgirl, and the kinky "Bound to Please." Not since the glory days of Alberto Vargas and George Petty has a single artist attracted the attention of devotees of pin-up art as has Dave Stevens. BOUNCER -- Highly Recommended. By Jodorowsky. Art by Francois Boucq. If you are a fan of Moebius's Lt. Blueberry, this may be perfect for you. An enormous 400 pages of three long adventures, a Western tale turned on its ear and filled with strange characters and surreal situations and "an overflow of rarely seen levels of violence." From what could only have originated from the mind of El Topo director and Metabarons author Alexandro Jodorowsky, Bouncer follows a one-armed gunslinger and sometimes saloon bouncer, in one of the Wild West’s most dangerous and vice-infested towns. New Website Tips

SEARCH - The general search on our website is not as tuned up yet as it will be. If you don’t find what you want using it, scroll to the bottom of the page, under QUICK LINKS and click on ADVANCED SEARCH. This allows you to search within every field, i.e. within title, author, description, price, publisher, recommendation, out of print. You can further limit your search by putting entries in two or more fields, such as any book by Alex Raymond that is out of print.

Once you have search items, you can click options in the SORT BY box to arrange items by TITLE (Alphabetically), NEWEST, and PRICE, both from lowest or from highest price [click on the arrow to the right of the box to reverse order). Since we transferred all our inventory in at one time, most items currently will be mixed up and not in NEWEST order—but from now on, all new items as we add them will come up properly by the latest releases.
Once you reset this SORT BY, it will stay that way for further searches until you change it again.

Two last things about our general SEARCH. First, I’m not happy with it, I don’t find it as “smart” as on our previous site. But we are working on it right now and will fix this. Second, I’m told it “learns” from use, so that it WILL get smarter and have better relevance to what you have searched for.

JUST ARRIVED
- If you are looking for the latest items, we don’t have an across-the-board new items category now. But each of our six major categories, which appear in boxes on the home page, have a JUST ARRIVED section within them. Just hover over each category and all the sub-sections of that category come up, first of which is JUST ARRIVED.

ALMOST GONE - We’ve added a new comment at the start of some descriptions. This means that this item either cannot (because it’s out of print) or will not (because we have discontinued it) be restocked. This is your last chance to get this from us, so this is our way of alerting you to that fact.

Similarly, at the beginning of many items CLOSEOUT tells you that the item is 1) on sale at more than 30% off and 2) it is going away and will not be restocked once copies are gone.

On all items, LOW STOCK tells you we have 4 copies or less on hand. On normal items, we’ll have more copies coming in, but on CLOSEOUTS or ALMOST GONE items, this is it, that’s all we have left.

DESCRIPTIONS AND DETAILS - When you look at an item on our site, now you see the first paragraph only of the description You need to scroll down to see the entire description. Then right next to that, is a box titled ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. Click on this to get the item code, size, page count, date published, publisher, etc. There’s also a box for reviews, which is where my occasional ones will go, or yours and others, if you’d like to contribute.

Alex Raymond: An Artist's Journey
I told you a week or two ago that this had sold out from the publisher and we didn’t expect it would make it into our next catalog, because our copies would be gone before then. We went back to the publisher and he agreed to let us have a small additional quantity. So it is indeed going to be gone soon, but we have enough (I hope) to satisfy orders, so I am delighted to make it the cover feature on our upcoming catalog. I’s a wonderful book and deserves it. Act soon if you want one, because once this is gone, a new reprinting is NOT currently planned. [ALRAH. $75].
